I find it interesting (and lucky) that there isn’t “slut” shaming towards goths even if there isn’t “much” clothing. I would walk with my sister and they would call her a slut just because she’s showing her stomach and cleavage as I’m walking with a mini dress that I have to pull up and down constantly. I know it’s because people see more the “darkness” than the skin exposed with me.

I have found ‘slut shaming’ still happens in the goth subculture but its a little more covert.
Generally it will start with the rumor mill saying ‘X is a slut’ - often started by someone who doesn’t like X or doesn’t approve of their behavior. They may see them as being slutty where they are just being single and flirty to enjoy themselves. It seems its ok for men to behave like that but as soon as a lady does she must be a slut. Its awful but it happens.
As for ‘slutty’ clothing its not always so obvious. Simply wearing a corset and having big boobs which barely fit can be enough to attract slut rumors, in this case started by envious or insecure people - usually other ladies. In that respect its a way to denigrate the competition.
It is also possible to be covered head to tow and still attract slut rumors and comments. Stuff like latex and PVC, high heels and bondage gear tend to make people think ‘kinky = slut’ when in reality the wearer may only be wearing it because they like it.
Then you have the poor unfortunates who attract lots of leghumpers. The rejected will often deride a lady who rejects their unwanted advances. Also some may see all the attention they get from leghumpers and assume they are a slut by association.
